Free Chemotherapy Drugs

Cancer care for children is often delayed even after the diagnosis is made because the chemotherapy drugs are not available at the hospital, especially in government-run hospitals, or because the patient’s family cannot afford to pay for them.

In many low-income countries, the patient’s families have to purchase the necessary chemotherapy drugs to start treatment for their child, and many centers do not have a pharmacy, or the pharmacy does not carry all the chemotherapy drugs. In such centers we provide commonly used chemotherapy drugs to be stored in the pediatric oncology ward, readily available to start treatment without delay, and free of cost to low-income families
